Christy Gibson, a Family Nurse Practitioner in Huntington, WV, has been dedicated to healthcare since graduating from West Virginia University School of Nursing in 2006. With experience in various hospital departments, she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing in 2011.
Christy transitioned from working at a local Urgent Care to joining Marshall Health’s Infectious Diseases department as a Nurse Practitioner. Her interest in aesthetics blossomed as she observed signs of aging, sparking a desire to learn the art of enhancing beauty and providing people with a confidence boost. Christy embarked on a journey of training, honing her skills in Austin, Chicago, Tampa, and Boston, mastering cosmetic injectables like neurotoxins and facial fillers.
Tina Toler, a nurse practitioner in Huntington, WV, embarked on her nursing journey in 1999 after earning her bachelor’s degree from Marshall University. From the emergency department to case management, Tina’s career path evolved when she became a flight nurse, eventually managing flight bases and overseeing transfers to renowned medical centers like the University of Kentucky and Ohio State University.
Driven by a commitment to elevate healthcare in her community, Tina pursued advanced education while working, earning her master’s degree in nursing administration from Bellarmine University in 2005 and a post-master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from Marshall University in 2010. She began her nurse practitioner career with St. Mary’s Medical Center’s Hospitalist Group and now specializes in pulmonary and sleep medicine at Marshall Health.
Tina’s fascination with aesthetics was sparked by her own experiences with various treatments. Pursuing her interest, she received certification in cosmetic injections of neuromodulators, fillers, and PRP after training at The National Laser Institute in Boston, MA. She eagerly anticipates contributing her expertise to Huntington Elite Aesthetic Treatments, all while staying active in CrossFit, engaging in church activities, and supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children alongside her husband TJ and their four Sphynx cats.
With over a decade under her belt as a hospital-based registered nurse, Micah Perry became a nurse practitioner in the year 2022 after attending Chamberlain University. She took a unique path combining her extensive clinical experience with a passion for aesthetics and pain relief.
Her years navigating the fast-paced world of hospital care honed her assessment and treatment skills, while her current focus allows her to leverage that knowledge in a different light. Now, Micah utilizes her expertise to both help patients achieve their aesthetic desires and manage chronic pain, offering a holistic approach to well-being that bridges medical knowledge with a desire to enhance confidence and quality of life.
As a nursing student nearing graduation, I embody a blend of clinical proficiency and a deep appreciation for aesthetics. With a strong foundation in medical principles, I am poised to provide comprehensive care to patients. However, what sets me apart is my fascination with the intersection of health and beauty. I am drawn to the artistry of aesthetics, with specialty training in teeth whitening. I envision merging my nursing skills with aesthetic practices to offer patients personalized and transformative experiences, ultimately helping them feel confident and empowered in their own skin.
